5 Easy Steps to Get Started with Zonos
|
Connect Zonos to your Website
Zonos has a Shopify app called Zonos Duty and Tax that you can install in your Shopify store. If you’re not on Shopify, you can integrate directly with Zonos's API.
You will need to contact Zonos directly to get pricing for the products that fit your business needs. Reach out to your MasonHub Account Manager for an introduction.
Choosing the Right Shipping Rates
You can decide to offer a flat-fee shipping rate for international customers, or calculate the rates dynamically based on the products in their cart. Additionally, you will need to decide to include duties, taxes, and other fees (DDP), or leave them unpaid (DDU). Read more about DDP and DDU in our Help Center.
Your MasonHub Account Manager can work with you to review the best international carrier service rates from your Rate Card.
If you choose to offer dynamic pricing, provide Zonos with a CSV of your rates which they’ll load into their system. You can also use a % markup to help smooth out any variances in fluctuating tax rates.
Once the ship methods and rates are set up in Zonos, send MasonHub the exact text used at checkout that will appear on your international orders and let us know if it’s DDU or DDP.
MasonHub will update your account’s ship method mappings so you can go live and begin shipping internationally.
Required SKU Data Before You Start Shipping Internationally
All of your variants (SKUs) must have both a Country of Origin and a Harmonized System (HS) code if they'll be shipped internationally. Read more about HS codes.
Country/Region of origin and HS (Harmonized System) code are required on your Product to ship internationally.
