If you're a two-node MasonHub client, you can override your default order routing and send a specific order to a specific warehouse by adding a tag to the order in Shopify.
How it works
Add one of the supported tags to a Shopify order before requesting fulfillment. When MasonHub receives the order, it reads the tag, forces the order to that warehouse, and switches the order to manual routing so your normal routing rules don't override the choice.
Supported tags
- mh-fontana routes the order to the Fontana warehouse with manual routing.
- mh-wilkes-barre routes the order to the Wilkes-Barre warehouse with manual routing.
The order will be created in MasonHub forced to that location.
A few things to know
- One tag at a time. Use a single warehouse tag per order. If you need to change the destination, remove the existing tag and add the other one before requesting fulfillment.
- No tag means normal routing. If you don't add either tag, the order follows your account's standard routing rules. Nothing changes for orders you don't tag.
- Tag before requesting fulfillment. The tag has to be on the order when fulfillment is requested. Adding it afterward won't reroute an order that's already been created in MasonHub.
- This sets manual routing. A forced order is marked as manually routed, so your default routing logic is intentionally bypassed for that order.
